General Philosophy
We realize that every person’s financial situation
is different. For this reason, we have worked hard to
provide a variety of payment options to help you receive
the care needed to enjoy a healthy lifestyle with respect
to your budget. We will work diligently with your
insurance carrier to ensure you receive the best coverage
available to you in your situation.
Health Insurance (Major Medical)
We are current in-network providers for major health
plans such as Medica, Health Partners, BCBS, Medicare,
MN Medical Assistance, and Chirocare of MN. Please
contact our experienced insurance department if you
have any preliminary questions about your coverage.
Auto Insurance - No-fault or Personal Injury
Protection (PIP)
When you are involved in an auto accident in Minnesota
your treatment is almost always covered under an auto
policy at 100% with no co-pays. You do not necessarily
have to have insurance of your own to qualify to receive
medical benefits, but typically benefits are provided
through your own auto insurance policy. In accordance
with Minnesota law your insurance rates cannot be increased unless
it is proven you were more than 50% responsible for
the accident.
Our experienced staff can help you determine the appropriate
insurance carrier that is responsible for payment
of your treatment.
Minnesota law gives you complete freedom to choose
a doctor of your choice for treatment of injuries as
a result of an automobile accident.
Workers’ Compensation (On-the-Job Injuries)
We accept all workers' compensation carriers as viable
insurance options. There are some limitations
set forth by the State on the number of weeks you can
receive chiropractic treatment, however, deviations
can be requested and granted based on your specific circumstances.
We have a strong understanding of any and all limitations
which helps ease the process for you as a patient.
Medicare
We are in-network providers for Medicare in our chiropractic
and physical therapy departments. Chiropractic
adjustments are authorized by Medicare without a referral,
however, all other treatment must be referred by a medical
doctor (MD). X-rays, physical therapy, acupuncture,
and manual therapy will not be covered unless you have
a referral from your medical doctor within 60 days.
The only treatment that will be covered by Medicare
without a referral from a medical doctor is a chiropractic
adjustment.
Cash, Check or Credit Card
Acceptable payment options are cash, check and all major
credit cards.
Payment Plans
If some or all of your treatment is not covered by insurance,
we can make payment arrangements that fit within
your budget on a case by case basis depending on your
financial situation.
